WFW

Today on Wrap Free Wednesday we had 13/22 people wrap free. That is 59% and we had 31 wrappers. That's bad.
Next week we will try to get 100%.

Ashton "I am going to make sure I do not put any wraps in my lunch"
Debbie "I am going to try and not put any chips in my lunch box"
Aaron ''I am going to try to get less wraps everyday''
Titus "I am going to try not to put too many wraps in my lunchbox."
Tegan "I am going to make sure my mum does not put in wrappers in my lunch box."

Writing

Today in writing we focused on proof-reading our writing.

First we had to read our writing to check it made sense. Then we read our writing to a buddy. Next we checked for full stops and capital letters and then underlined words to check.

Our goal is to proof-read our writing independently.

Movie Making

Aaron and Ashton were part of a movie making project in Term 2. They worked with Rebecca and Ben from room 14. The movie had to be about keeping safe while biking.
What feedback do you have for them? What did you enjoy? What could they do differently next time?

Technology with Room 6

We have begun our Technology unit and have met with room 6 to draw our designs.
Our topic is Imagination so we have thought of an imaginary world and designed a costume that a character would wear who lives in our world.

Apple tv and our iPad

Today we had the apple TV up on  the screen. Miss Pethybridge (our student teacher) went onto the kiwi kids news website. There was an article about manners and it told us that a lot of kids were not using manners and some kids at their dinner time are eating their dinner in front of the TV while their parents were at the table having a conversation. Some kids are swearing in public.

Then we went onto the show me app and did some spelling. Miss Pethybridge wrote some words and then we had to add magic 'e's onto the end of the words.
