    The chalk represented limestone.
The vinegar represented the acid in the soil.
The rain water firstly mixses with a little bit of carbon dioxide then it hits the soil and forms a acid in the soil then it eats away at the limestone then lastly it starts forming a cave and that is how a cave is formed.
