Our NZ Flag

Should we change the NZ flag?

There has been talk for a while now about changing NZ's flag.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree or disagree?

    Hi Room 7
    I agree that the flag should be changed. I'd like to see the black flag with the silver fern on it because it is so unique and special just to us. No other countries have a flag like that. It is also easily identifiable as New Zealand across the whole world.

    Isn't it interesting that we all have so many different opinions about this?

    Hello to all the children in Room 7

    I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts about our flag, and well done with your colourful designs. I want a new flag, but I also want to keep our present flag to use on special days like Anzac Day. That way people don't have to be too upset if they like our flag and don't want it to change. I wonder if you've seen my flag designs at www.coolnz.net.
