Poem

It was a very cold morning this morning! We thought we would write a poem about it. As a class we all contributed our ideas to write a class poem.

One Frosty Morning
Beautiful frosty icicles in the shape of silver ferns,
Making sparkling crystals on the ground.
Icy leaves dangling from bare trees.
Crunchy, icy grass beneath my feet,
Feels like cold, hard, icy snow.
As slippery as frozen ice on an ice rink.
Dripping water down frosty trees.
Looks like a white blanket covering the shivering grass.

I really like your poem because you have strong adjectives and you have good similes. And is your poem like the 5 senses.
